Upon loading the add-in, a Windows application called Infront Excel Add-in is started, and its corresponding icon appears in the notification area.
Server connection
An HTTPS (port 443) connection between the Infront Excel Add-in (InfrontExcelEngine.exe) and the Infront Analytics platform (www.infrontanalytics.com) must be established for the add-in to run.
This is why when you start using the add-in, you are prompted to enter your account credentials – the same credentials as for the web – to enable this connection.
Enter your credentials and click Connect. If the connection is successful, the dialog box is closed. At any time, you can check the connection status by clicking Connection in the ribbon to reopen the dialog box.
Seamless login
To enable seamless login, open the Options dialog and check the Save Password and Automatic Login options.
